Chrome extension privacy policy

Yummatch Recipe Saver only acts on the page you choose to save. It does not scan your tabs in the background, it does not sell your data, and it only uses the information required to save recipe imports into your Yummatch notebook.

1) What the extension does

The extension lets signed-in users capture recipe data or save a recipe link from the active page and send it to a Yummatch notebook list.

2) What we access

  • The active page URL, title, and recipe content available on the page you choose to save.
  • An image or screenshot only when needed for a fallback URL import or saved notebook preview.
  • Your Yummatch extension session token after you sign in inside the extension.
  • Your selected notebook list and the recipe fields you edit before saving.

3) How we use it

  • To detect recipe information on the current page.
  • To let you review and edit imports before saving.
  • To save the recipe or link inside your Yummatch notebook.
  • To keep you signed in to the extension across browser sessions.

4) What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not scan tabs automatically.
  • We do not track browsing activity in the background.
  • We do not execute remotely hosted code inside the extension.

5) Storage and retention

Saved notebook entries are stored in your Yummatch account. Fallback screenshots are stored only when needed for a saved import. Extension session data is stored locally so you do not have to sign in each time.
